Good Tuesday evening to you! Wow, what a L-l-l-o-o-o-n-n-n-g-g-g Tuesday! Have you ever just had one of those days where there is so much going on that you don’t stop doing anything for a second but you still feel like you got nothing done?? That’s what sort of day it is for me. Oh man!! Oh well, it’s almost over Just a few more hours then just a little bit of sleep and I’ll be good.
What a Daytona 500 race!! WOW!! My favorite driver won!! Matt Kenseth #17!! I feel asleep after work and didn’t even get to see him win!! I saw the nasty wreck with the track dryer truck and then stayed awake for just a little bit but then didn’t make it through the whole race! Oh well, it was nice to wake up and see he won!! Way to go Matt!!

Good Monday Morning to you! Hope your Monday is going well and I hope your weekend was a good one! I had an AWESOME weekend!! Took a trip over to Champaign to hang out at my buddy Josh and Kristen’s! He’s got his own CrossFit Gym, Club 806, and we did an AWESOME WOD on Saturday morning then just hung out and watched college basketball all day. After that we went and hit up our favorite mexican restaurant, El Toro, right before we rocked our faces off at the Kelly Clarkson concert!! It was awesome!! Sunday was just a long but relaxing day. I had my Men In Tights practice and then did laundry and watched the NBA ALL-STAR game!! It was an awesome weekend!!

Good Friday afternoon to you! Hope your Friday is going well for you so far! Woke up this morning with the wind blowing and the snow falling! We have been getting spoiled with all this nice weather it was weird having the cold wind and snow…oh well, I’m sure it will be 90 degrees before we know it!
Any big plans for the weekend?? I mean not that I have anything going on, I’m just going to Champaign to my buddies house and we are going out to eat and then going to see KELLY CLARKSON! SINCE U BEEN GONE! I can’t wait!! I’ve seen Kelly two times already and I’m ready for my third time!! I know it’s weird that I really enjoy heavy metal/rock music and go to concerts and mosh and all that but…I have much love for a girl that ROCKS just like KELLY!! Oh here’s my picture from when I met her at the Illinois State Fair!

Good Thursday morning to you. It’s a very sad day today at the Capitol Radio Group. We found out last night we lost a dear, dear friend, co-worker, and employee on COOL 101.9 Mr. Ed “Rock-N-Roll” Pritchard.
Ed has been in the radio business for almost 30 years and at Capitol Radio Group for nearly 19 years. He was here when I started my internship and always had stories to share. One of my first memories was when the tornadoes hit Springfield, he took me to cover the damage and I have never went so fast in a company vehicle before! But everywhere we went no matter if there was caution tape or not EVERYONE knew Ed and we got right in at the scene of everything. He always seemed to great me every morning when I came in early with, “Ladies and gentleman, Mr. Blake Stadel.” I’m going to miss that Ed!!

In other news, today is my last day rockin’ the ALL AFTERNOON PARTY then tomorrow back onto the All Night Party!
I get to get my picture with World Series Trophy today! I’m so excited! I’ve got my Cardinals shirt on and I’m ready to go!! It’s going to be AWESOME!

Good FAT TUESDAY afternoon to you! Hope your day is going great so far!! Hope you are eating everything in your sight because you are giving certain things up for Lent the next 40 days! I remember back in grade school we would all just bring treats on Fat Tuesday and just eat, and eat all day long!! Not real healthy but still it was awesome!
Well, yesterday was a BIG day for the Chicago Bulls!! Derrick Rose returned and had a great game to help the BULLS win!!
Now tonight will be the third game of the ILLINI that I will NOT watch!! They play Ohio State and if they play like I heard they did against Nebraska then I bet they get beat by 50 points. Even though I’m not watching, GOOD LUCK ILLINI!!

Saturday we had our 6th Annual WDBR Dodgeball Tournament!! It was a GREAT TIME!! My WDBR team didn’t make it to the playoffs but that’s ok!! We raised money for the Children’s Miracle Network at St. John’s Children’s Hospital and that’s all that mattered!! Congratulations to the Champions of the Competitive Division once again - Spider Monkeys!! Also the winners of our Fun Division was - Benedictine University Bulldogs!! Thank you very much to ALL of our teams that came out to play!!
After dodgeball, I went home and cleaned!! Yup, I cleaned my house!! It was awesome!! Did laundry and just hung out!!! It was not good because ILLINI lost, BULLS lost, and we lost in dodgeball Other than all the losing it was a good day.
Sunday was a busy, busy day!! Church, CrossFit, grocery shopping, g/f’s family for some visiting, then my grandparents were in town so we went and grabbed some dinner with them!! Went home and watched, “Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark” with Katie Holmes. It wasn’t too bad but could have been better.

Well, that’s my weekend and now I’m rockin’ afternoons with YOU until 6p.m.!!!
